Dean Brushes Off Spectator Slime

Channel 5 in Boston reports that Dean is brushing off American Spectator's attempts to get he and Kerry squabbling. [See previous post by V for Kerry's (also appropriate) reaction.]
Even with all this media attention, Dean insisted he doesn't know about any opposition research conducted by Democratic opponents. The conservative journal the American Spectator claimined Kerry is looking for dirt on Dean and his wife, both physicians.

"I'm saying no comment on the reports from the American Spectator as I would on the National Enquirer," said Dean.

He also answered the Spectator's claim that Dean won't say if he has ever performed an abortion.

"I did not perform abortions. I'm a medical doctor. Nor did my wife," Dean said.
