Energy Policy Money Quote

A really nice Dean quote from this article:
"The Danes get 20 percent of all their energy from wind today," he thundered. "This is not some Birkenstock wacko liberal's idea from Vermont! This is an established technology, and we ought to be ashamed of ourselves for falling behind! We are supposed to be the most technologically advanced country on the earth!"
Not only do I agree with it, but I think this kind of rhetoric will resonate, along with his remarks about how the Costa Ricans have health care and we don't. Americans like to think their country is the best; Dean can appeal to their patriotism this way. "We can do better than this!" (which Dean uses a lot) is a winner and applies to so many ways in which the Bush administration has failed the United States and its potential.
