Other candidates!

We've added links in the left sidebar to the other Dem candidates. Candidates with weblogs get listed first. (Bush doesn't get a link.)

John Kerry has a weblog as of a day or so ago. This is a good thing, and shows the ability of his campaign to adapt (though more slowly than a winner should).

The Dean crowd abhors a vacuum, so a big crowd (plus perhaps some non-Dean-supporting troublemakers) visited and metaphorically criticized the party host, the furniture, the decor and the food. This understandably annoyed some Kerry folk (who, let's face it, are already annoyed at Dean folk). Attempts at increasing peace and understanding are slowly progressing; ah, the joys of breaking new ground.

Meanwhile, Bob Graham's blog is showing some real personality. Today they interviewed one of their campaign's canine workers:

Blog Graham: A Domesticated Animal Speaks Out
We woke up Folly, a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees and expert on homeland security, for a brief interview and some insights into the problems and issues that concern today's working guardian dogs.

LK: Miss Folly, what are the primary threats you see to our national security?

Folly: Cheap Republicans. They're so cheap they didn't even want to give the air marshals a place to sleep at the end of a long day. At least I got a bed. It's a little chewed up, but it's got a sheepskin and inner springs.. Are you telling me we can't do as much for the air marshals?

LK: But the Bush administration argues that we took care of Saddam Hussein. Didn't that make us safe from terrorists?

Folly: Safe from terrorists? Lady, that didn't even make us safe from coyotes...

LK: Some people say that it's unpatriotic and bad political judgement to criticize President Bush.

Folly: Some people say I shed a lot. Get a vacuum.
Plus there's a nice George Tenet-related tweak in there. Fun stuff.
