Outsourcing Campaign Staff

The Republican party is so unconcerned about the THREE MILLION American jobs that have been lost since Dubya became president that they're even willing to outsource party fundraising and give those jobs to non-citizens. Way to Buy American, there, fellas!
HCL eServe, the business process outsourcing arm of the Shiv Nadar-promoted HCL Technologies, has bagged a project to undertake a fund-raising campaign for the US Republican Party over the telephone.

This is the first time such a project has been handed out to a company outside the US.

Update: A later story notes that the RNC denies this story.

is it just me but doesn't this "later" denial story occur months and months ago?

is the outsourcing story also that old?

Yeah, I think the outsourcing story is from earlier this year.

Media attention spans are generally short -- with something like this, it's hard to tell if there's no story there (given the RNC denial) or if they're just lazy.
