Arnold. Ugh.

It's hard for me to put into words exactly how the California election makes me feel; I'll just throw a few of my favorite ones out for you here: Preposterous. Incomprehensible. Extraordinary.

Joe Trippi had good reaction quotes in the NY Times, though:

California Insurrection Puts Other Politicians on Notice
"Right now, you could hold a recall in every state in the country — and I bet a lot of governors would be in a lot of trouble," Mr. Trippi said...

"That anger is there, and it's going to get more focused on Washington in general and George Bush in particular," Mr. Trippi said. "It's clear what's going on. It's just that people are taking it out on the wrong guy. Either we got 50 really horrible governors out there, or one really bad president."
Bizarre. Freakish. Nuts.

Just saw Arnold take his bow on Leno. Jay Leno is a slobbering hack of a comedian: suck-up to the powerful. I don't see why Letterman gets fewer viewers, but that's neither here nor there.

All right, that's enough.
