Bob Graham won't run for the Senate again

NYTimes: Bob Graham, a Southern Democrat, to Retire From the Senate
"My decision should in no way be viewed as a statement that I have completed all that I want to accomplish," Senator Graham said. "As Winston Churchill declared: `Now is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.'

"I intend to continue to make a difference, albeit in a different way after January of 2005."
I'm not at all sure what this means, whether he's thinking of running for governor again (which I would favor; getting rid of Jeb would be a fine thing) or if he's expecting the VP spot.

Or maybe Graham for Sec Homeland Security? (Should we call that SecSec? Like SecDef, SecState... ) Or maybe even Director of Central Intelligence?
