Value Judgment is a daily weblog written by two independent voters on the eastern seaboard of the United States. VJ will focus on the 2004 U.S. Presidential campaigns, including strategy, tactics, and substance. The authors supported Howard Dean in the Democratic primary. Accordingly, his activities will be a prominent topic on this site.

Similar to when the 'Gore Endorsement Imminent' story hit the wires, within about twenty minutes of the first hint of this there were a dozen different news outlets writing the same story:
As someone pointed out on Kos, it was nice that she at least made it onto The Daily Show while still a candidate (even if it was her last day), and TDS can milk this for a big joke about the show ruining her chances.
Moseley Braun was a generally sensible voice in the Dem debates, and I've occasionally been impressed with her framings and phrasings.
She stayed in the race long enough and comported herself well enough to be noticed (and now missed) by a lot of people, and that's probably a big part of why she ran.
I hope this isn't the last we see of her in this campaign; she'll be an articulate ambassador for the eventual nominee.
