Begala, Corporate Shill

Paul Begala has fully entered the ranks of corporate Democratic shill with the following elitist bullsh*t.
Well, in an interview, Howard Dean and his wife, Dr. Judy Dean, discussed their TV viewing habits. Mrs. Dean told ABC's "Primetime Thursday" that she had not seen her husband's blowup in Iowa Monday night, because -- quote -- "I don't watch TV that much" -- unquote. And Howard Dean himself volunteered -- quote -- "I never watch the cable television shows."

Great. So voters now have a chance to replace a president who doesn't read the papers with one who doesn't watch cable news. A little free advice, Governor. President Bush has already cornered the market on ignorance. How about staying informed?
As though there is even a remote intellectual comparison between newspapers and print periodicals (which are pretty bad these days) and cable 'news' (which is beyond atrocious).

If the Democratic party thinks that people like Paul Begala are their best and brightest to put out there every day and give the Democratic perspective on things, then my decision to remain an independent is definitely the right one.

And Paul Begala, I do have cable tv and I can't stand your show either. Guess I'm just "ignorant." You sanctimonious prick.

Ignoring the news in print is ignorance.

Ignoring the news on cable is protecting ones sanity.

Well said J! That was the beginning of the end of my love affair with Begala as well. I thought he was on our side. Didn't know he was just another hatchet man for the DLC.
