Brokaw's a damnable embarrassment

What an ass. Tom Brokaw's first round of questions in tonight's debate was all about stupid horse race issues: 'this is a do or die state for you, isn't it' ... 'will you get out if you don't win here', etc.

Sadly, none of the candidates called him on the shallowness of his questions and the wasting of precious time.

Now he disputed Dean's Iraq answer without giving him a chance to respond.

Clearly, he's pretty much at the Judy Woodruff level of TV reporterdom; irretrievably vain, smug and blinkered.

Why can't we have a better press corps?

Hey, Kucinich just smacked him for a smug mischaracterization of his position. Good job, Congressman.

Update: Hey Senator Kerry, wouldn't it have been smart to correct Brokaw's question glossing over the difference between 'the danger from terrorism' and 'the danger from Iraq'? Hello? Instead you gave a lukewarm 'it's somewhere in the middle'-type answer. Weak.

Clark just corrected another inaccurate Brokaw question. Good.

Smack this loser around! Please!

Anybody else a little creeped out by the idea of Kucinich "laying hands on America"?

Overall, that was the worst debate of the three I've seen -- the questions were crap, Brokaw was worse than crap, and I didn't think any of the candidates was outstanding.

sigh

I couldn't even watch.

Did anyone notice whether Kerry's eyebrows moved? (Just curious... )
