And when Nader gets 5% of the vote, many Dems blame the loss on him, refusing to look into the mirror or listen to what the mood of their constituency is.

2002: The Iraq resolution. Congressional Dems think they can be "reasonable" by giving the president his war and that they can make the economy the main issue of the election. Not surprisingly, many progressive voters stay home, disgusted. With no Nader to blame, they claim it's not really all that bad.

2003: Howard Dean gets up on the stage and says "What the hell is wrong with you losers?" I say Amen, brother.
