November Returns

I just realized something. When I contemplate Dean as the nominee against Bush, I've been saying for a long time that I don't think I'll be able to watch the returns in November. It'll just be too stressful. (Unless I drink heavily.) But, if Dean is not the nominee, I think I'll have a much easier time watching the returns. (I'll still probably drink heavily. Haha!)

I'm sure a therapist would have fun exploring why that is -- probably a combination of increased cynicism and a lack of significant intellectual, financial, or emotional investment.

I've also said that if Dean is the nominee, I'm probably going to need to be alone (modulo SO) on election night. If Dean's not the nominee, I'll probably either throw or go to an election night party.

I'm weird.

Think positive........................

Now that all the networks have admitted to overkill on the dean scream we should do the following:
1. DEMAND/REQUEST free airtime in compensation in Prime time equal to the amount of the overkill.
2.Run excerpts from the MTP with DEAN, showing his presidential/electability side (even IMUS was turned around after that showing)This is the type of ad that would bring the INdependants back to HD.
3.DO THIS NOW...TODAY..........ASAP

Maybe somewhat along the same lines of thought, I told my husband that the positive of having Kerry as our presumptive nominee is that now HE gets beat up by the Rove machine. I didn't want to have my man Dean go through that meat grinder, though hubby said "Dean could take it."

That's the only bright spot I can find about Kerry in the spotlight.
