The Note - Still On Another Planet

So I stopped reading The Note several weeks ago because I got so sick of them squawling about how Dean wasn't being given enough scrutiny (among other things.)

I still get the email updates, and when I got the email today saying The Note is Ready I figured I'd give them another chance. Maybe now that the race has settled down, and the scary, scary, mean, Dean guy is out of the race, they'll be more reasonable. A few paragraphs in I come across this piece of brilliance:
President Bush is NOT the underdog in this race, and it is next to impossible to imagine him ever declaring himself to be. But that means that John Kerry is not every day in every way being held to the same level of accountability as the incumbent.
What? What??? On what planet is Bush being held to any level of accountability for anything?? What are these people on? How can one take anything they say seriously when they spew nonsense like this?

They go on to tell everyone that Bush will more than likely win in November.

And don't even get me started on the Economist this week....

Support a truly grassroots Senatorial candidate! Georgia Senator Mary Squires is running for Zell Miller's U.S. Senate seat that he is vacating. We must win this seat for our progressive candidate. She CAN and WILL win this seat but needs your support. Dean supporters in Georgia and around the nation have begun organizing for Senator Squires because we understand the importance of taking back our U.S. Senate. The Republicans want this seat and have already raised several million dollars to help them get it. Please consider a small contribution today to help win the Senate for REAL democrats. Contribute here: http://www.marysquires.us/contribute.html
