Defensive Wilgoren

Jodi Wilgoren refuses to listen to any criticism from the great unwashed and thinks her snide, snarky style is appropriate for the NYT. She flings out an ad hominem attack against her critics, claiming they lack knowledge and understanding, and refuses to engage with the substance of the critique at all.
The reader feedback she received through Wilgoren Watch as well as other blogs and e-mails "typically did not reflect much knowledge about or understanding of mainstream journalism," Wilgoren says
